Walk & Run for rare special event committee member

Each Walk & Run for rare special event committee member is responsible in contributing to an organization that exists to ensure the successful preservation, intact and in perpetuity, of a unique 900+ acre site and to enhance the ecological functioning of these lands.

rare Charitable Research Reserve is not for profit, registered charity which strives to be a healthy place for those who work and volunteer here.  We are collegial in our planning and work together – often volunteering ourselves to help maintain the volunteer culture that established rare, on which it still heavily depends.  We value creativity and are welcoming of all input.

Reporting to our Development and Communications Officer and working in a team environment with all staff, this volunteer position requires a well-organized and self-motivated event planner.
