Corporate Volunteer Groups Needed in Food Bank Gardens

Is your group, company, church, club or organization looking for a meaningful volunteer experience that presents opportunities for teamwork and personal development while helping Food Banks in our community?

The team at rare Charitable Research Reserve is happy to provide you and your staff with full-day or half-day guided gardening sessions within our Springbank Food Bank Gardens, located at 681 Blair Rd, Cambridge.  Our garden is a collective gardening space where people gather together to grow vegetables and fruit for the recipients of Food Bank programs in the Cambridge and Waterloo area.  Your helping hands are needed to produce good crops while you get a chance to learn about organic gardening!

Tasks may include: weeding, watering, planting, harvesting, raking and shoveling compost and mulch in our organic gardens.

Contact us now for more information or to book your time in the garden, May through October.
