Beginner Beading Workshop

Description:

Sunday, February 25, 2018
10
:00 am to 1:00 pm

rare ECO Centre

Aaniin (Hello)!

Please join our new Indigenous Program Coordinator & Facilitator, Mackenzie Lespérance in learning the basics of how to create the ‘fringe style’ earring. The best part is you don’t need any prior experience!

Everyone is welcome, but please note that space is limited and in case of oversubscription, Indigenous Peoples (self-identified and status First Nations, Métis & Inuit) will be given priority placement. We would like to thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their funding towards supporting safe and healthy spaces for Indigenous learning in the community of Waterloo Region.

As an organization committed to inclusivity and reciprocal practice, we recognize, support and encourage Indigenous ceremonies practiced on site by Indigenous Elders, volunteers, employees and students in classrooms, meeting rooms, gathering places, offices, cultural events and meetings.

This event is FREE!
Miigwech (thank you) for your interest! Once registered, you will be notified if you are selected to attend this workshop.
