Sewing Enthusiast

We are looking for a volunteer sewing enthusiast. We require someone to construct simple rectangular pouches out of mesh fabric, for use by our research team. If you enjoy sewing, have access to a sewing machine, and are willing to dedicate some time to helping with this project, we would love to have your help!

Tasks:

Construct simple pouches out of vinyl mesh and nylon thread, to be used by the research team for soil humus decay rate monitoring.

Timing:

This volunteer position is temporary and requires only a few hours of commitment before the end of October.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with using a sewing machine (and access to your own sewing machine)
  • Attention to detail

Training Provided:

All fabric and instructions will be provided.

Expected Benefits:
