The rare Nature School is a weekly outdoor education program for children aged 6 – 12. With a small group size* and outdoor setting, it’s a safe and engaging alternative to classroom or virtual learning.

Focusing on environmental education and hands-on inquiry, this fully outdoors program will allow your child(ren) to engage and interact with the local environment through art, exercise and exploration.

As this program is fully outdoors, attendees must come prepared with appropriate clothing and rain/or snow gear**. A healthy campfire snack may be provided, but attendees are required to bring their own lunch and snacks for the day. Please note that while we strive to stay outdoors as much as possible, masks will be required when we must be indoors at Nature School.

Program Schedule:
Every Thursday from  April 21st to June 9th, 2022
9 AM – 3:30 PM
Extended Care (8 – 9 AM / 3:30 – 4:30 PM) is also available!

Pricing:
$60 per week ($480 total for the Winter Season)
$70 per week with AM / PM Care ($560 total for the Winter Season)

Subsidies

At rare, we strive to provide opportunities to get Every Child Outdoors. Subsidies are available for children for whom registration costs (and in some cases travel costs) are a barrier for participation.
