Blair Flats Shoreline Cleanup Volunteer Day

We are planning a shoreline cleanup at Blair Flats to remove debris that washes up along the shoreline. This is an excellent opportunity to come out and give back to nature, while spending time with fellow individuals passionate about a healthy environment. We will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Lamb’s Inn, 1679 Blair Road, Cambridge. The work is scheduled to continue until noon.

We will be cleaning up the banks of the Grand River, so we recommend that participants wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, suitable footwear (sturdy shoes or boots recommended) and a hat. Work or gardening gloves are optional but recommended. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellant, and snacks.
