Spring Plant Sale and Eco-Market

Our annual spring plant sale fundraiser returns in 2022 with an accompanying Eco-Market. This event will take place at the rare ECO Centre and Slit Barn at 768 Blair Road. On sale will be thousands of spring seedlings grown in the greenhouses of Springbank Farm. Vegetables, herbs, fruit, flowers and native pollinator species will be available (click here to see a full list).

This year, we are also introducing an Eco-Market under a big tent outside the Slit Barn. Come walk among the tables set up by local artisans, eco-friendly small businesses, and socially and environmentally inclined community groups. This is a great chance to buy plants for your garden and spend time amongst people who share a passion for growing things.

The event takes place rain or shine. All proceeds raised by rare’s plant sale will support the Food Bank Gardens at Springbank Farm, ensuring the growth of healthy, fresh, organic produce for those in need in our community.
