The Ancient Mariners

The Inaugural Cambridge Bee City Festival

Hosted by the Ancient Mariners Canoe Club in partnership with the Cambridge Bee City Team, everyone is invited to drop in at the AMCC Boathouse in Cambridge’s Riverbluffs Park (251 George Street) any time between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 1 to see what the community has been doing to protect its pollinators. View displays from the various organizations that are leading the way in Cambridge, then walk through the Cambridge Pollinator Preserve and Education Centre (Cambridge’s oldest pollinator habitat) just behind the boathouse. Be sure to visit the rare table while you’re there!

  • Learn the facts about pollination ecology
  • Learn what field projects are underway in the city
  • Learn how our gardeners have embraced the pollinator challenge
  • Learn how you too can create a pollinator habitat.

All the while, listen to live acoustic instrumental folk music!

No registration is required. Drop in at any time, rain or shine!
