Things to Do If You Visit

There’s always something to do at rare Charitable Research Reserve, whether its community programming, our ECO Camps, or even just walking the 8 km of trails we have open to the public.

Have a look around, and hopefully we’ll see you soon!

Community Events & Nature Programs

Programs and public events that explore a myriad of environmental topics are offered regularly at rare throughout the year, and to groups upon request. Guided hikes, lectures, gardening workshops and evening Owl Prowls are just the beginning. To learn more, visit our community events listings, or take a look at our trails and explore the Reserve at your own pace.

ECO Camps

The rare Charitable Research Reserve is proud to host both March Break ECO Camp and Summer ECO Camps as well as a Nature School for children ages 6-12.

Springbank Farm and Community Gardens
