Summer Native Species Planting Day

Wednesday, September 11, 2019
9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Meet at Lamb's Inn (1679 Blair Road, Cambridge)

See the rare trails while enjoying a guided hike with staff and other volunteers.  While hiking we will be keeping an eye out for sites to plant seedlings from our native plant propagation project.

Species identification will be taught on site as well as instruction on proper planting techniques. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain in field experience with ecological restoration and become more familiar with flora of southern Ontario.

Cost: This event is FREE

Each volunteer day will have a morning (9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m) and afternoon (1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.) session. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for one or both sessions.

We are sorry but registration for this event is now closed.

Please contact us if you would like to know if spaces are still available.
