raresites Eramosa Community Bioblitz

Description:

July 26 -  27, 2019
Eramosa Property 1
5174 7th Line, Guelph-Eramosa

Explore rare’s new property in the Eramosa River Conservation Corridor at this year’s bioblitz!

A bioblitz is an intense period of biological surveying where a group of experts, naturalists and volunteers attempt to record as many species as they can in one area. Become a community-based scientist, and learn from knowledge holders in the field how to find and identify species of plants, animals, and fungi living in our area. As evidenced by the success of bioblitzes around the world including at other locations of the rare reserve, together we can find and catalogue a lot of species in just a short time.

Help us build our species list at this new property — rare’s first land in Wellington Region!
