What is the Springbank Food Bank Garden? Our gardens are located on rare Charitable Research Reserve’s Springbank Farm, 681 Blair Rd, Cambridge. This is a collective gardening space where people gather together to grow vegetables and fruit for the recipients of food bank programs at the Cambridge Food Bank. Your helping hands are needed to produce good crops while you get a chance to learn about organic gardening!
Twice weekly volunteer sessions for individuals and/or families start on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. (Please note that Sunday’s volunteer sessions won’t start until Sunday, June 2, 2024!)
Every Wednesday from 9am – noon, until October 23
Every Sunday from 1-4pm, until October 6
Note that Sunday’s volunteer events are only for 18-year-olds and up.

No registration is required. Garden volunteer days are cancelled in the event of rain. We supply meaningful gardening tasks that present opportunities for personal development, teamwork and physical activity in the out-of-doors.
