You can help rare protect our environment, foster our natural spaces, build local food security, and build an understanding in the surrounding community of the important role that these spaces have on our health and wellbeing. Giving comes in many forms of generosity, and rare is grateful for the dedication, expertise, and efforts that volunteers contribute towards our mission to make the world a more sustainable place.
We have ongoing volunteer opportunities at the Springbank Food Bank Garden, with Volunteer Days on Wednesdays, and Land Management activities on Thursdays.
Each year, we sell thousands of vegetable and native plant seedlings, all grown on-site, with 100% of proceeds benefiting rare’s Foodbank Garden. Your support as a volunteer helps ensure this event runs smoothly!
