Life Thriving in Our Education Pond

Life is returning to the Education Pond at rare's Lamb's Inn offices. Thanks to support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation, the pond lining has been replaced and the pond restored.

Already, tadpoles, frogs, toads and many insects have been spotted in the Education Pond (they were unfortunately camera-shy for me) and more are expected once the native plants get more established within it.

The pond is an educational resource for visiting students, bringing them up close with nature and sparking a sense of wonder in our next generation of conservationists. We expect that the pond will be back in use in Spring 2025. Thanks again to the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation for their support in making this happen.
